Currently a rising star in the Bolton Wanderers defensive line, Max Conway is a homegrown talent who successfully navigated the club’s academy ranks to turn professional. The left-back significantly accelerated his development during a standout 2024/25 season-long loan with Crewe Alexandra, where he excelled in his first taste of EFL football. His exceptional performances earned him Crewe’s Player of the Year award, prompting Wanderers to secure his future with a contract extension until June 2026. After a strong 2025/26 pre-season, he remains a key part of the club’s long-term plans.
